Description
- Acretin 0.025% Topical Cream For Acne Treatment is the medication used to treat acne. It is formulated with 0.025% tretinoin. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It is a topical (applied to the skin) form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself. It works by lightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin, and slowing down the way the body removes skin cells that may have been harmed by the sun. Tretinoin works best when used within a skin care program that includes protecting the treated skin from the sun. It could lessen acne breakouts overall, lessen their intensity, and hasten the healing of any breakouts that do occur. You may start noticing results from using tretinoin after 2-3 weeks but it usually takes 6 or more weeks to experience the full effects. Acretin is also used to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin.

How to use
- Wash your hands before applying Acretin 0.025% Topical Cream. Gently clean the affected skin with a mild cleanser and pat dry. Use your fingertips to apply a small amount of Acretin 0.025% Topical Cream (about the size of a pea) in a thin layer, once daily at bedtime.
- For topical use only; It is not for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use.
- Apply a thin film of the cream to affected areas of the face and/or trunk once daily after washing. Use a pea-sized amount for each area of the face (e.g., forehead, chin, each cheek).
- During the first few weeks of using tretinoin, your acne might appear worse because ACRETIN is working on pimples forming inside the skin. It may take up to few weeks to notice results.
- Use it regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day. Do not use a larger amount or use it more frequently than recommended. Your skin will not improve any faster, and it will increase the risk of developing redness, peeling and pain.
